Spiritual Capital
Prayer. Gifts. Sending.
The Gospel is the power of God. His gifts unleash reconciliation, restoration, and resurrection upon the world. When we participate with Him by responding in prayer and seeing those prayers expand beyond a single community or congregation, we find ourselves seeking the Kingdom just as Jesus instructed us to do.
Luke 10:02 Prayer
And Jesus said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Luke 10:2
We invite you to set an alarm on your phone for 10:02 am each day as a prompt to remember Jesus’ command: to pray earnestly for harvest workers to be sent out into His harvest!
The Spirit is Already Moving
Therefore, we pray for people of peace.
Through our baptism, we are the workers in the Spirit’s sending, participating in His activity of multiplying continuously through Gospel reproduction.
Therefore, we seek the Kingdom.
Praying relentlessly for Christ and His Kingdom to advance and expand, we see God’s sending being prioritized so that more and more people receive His grace.
Therefore, we unleash God’s word.
The power of God for salvation is the Gospel, and it is for everyone. We are sent to one another, unleashing His word at Harvest Tables, overlapping into all the capitals and splashing onto one another in every direction: bringing reconciliation, restoration, and resurrection!
