Financial Capital
God is able.
Financial needs can feel like the biggest. And, for some, words like “partnership” have for them in the past been code for: “Can you give us money?”
In the Harvest Partnership, we always list Financial Capital last. We have discovered that when we invest Spiritual, Relational, Intellectional, and Physical capitals first, trust is increased not only with one another, but also in God!
Valuing the Kingdom.
“We want you to know, brothers, about the grace of God that has been given among the churches of Macedonia, for in a severe test of affliction, their abundance of joy and their extreme poverty have overflowed in a wealth of generosity on their part. For they gave according to their means, as I can testify, and beyond their means, of their own accord, begging us earnestly for the favor of taking part in the relief of the saints…”
2 Corinthians 8:1-4
Stewarding the Kingdom
When we think in terms beyond “the castle”.
Instead of thinking, “they just want our money,” opportunities are discovered where generosity overcomes scarcity and God works mightily in multiple ministries all at the same time!
The Church in Partnership.
One church might realize that while they are not in a place to plant another church, they might be in a position to provide some funding to another church that is!
Sending Churches & Supporting Churches.
When churches partner together, each can live in different vocations which reflect where they are and what season they are in. Not all churches are planting, some are fueling harvest workers, other are sending harvest workers, others are supporting the work being done elsewhere. Everyone is called in their own way to partner with Christ and His Kingdom.
